Office WiFi

WiFi that works across the whole office — no dead zones, no dropped calls. Design, installation and monitoring of business networks.

Slow or flaky WiFi is one of the most common — and most underestimated — problems in an office: video calls that drop, dead zones, the system choking at 10am when everyone is connected. It’s almost never "bad luck": it’s a home router doing the job of a business network, badly placed access points or an unsegmented network. We diagnose it, fix it properly and leave you with WiFi that just works. And, very often, that diagnosis surfaces opportunities to sort out the rest of your IT.

What's included

  • Site survey: real coverage and interference measurement to place access points where they’re needed.
  • Business access points (Ubiquiti UniFi, TP-Link Omada) — not home routers stretched to their limit.
  • VLAN-segmented network: guest WiFi separated from operations, no cross-risk.
  • Seamless roaming between access points so the call doesn’t drop as you walk the office.
  • Traffic prioritization (QoS) for video calls and critical systems above everything else.
  • WiFi monitoring with alerts — we hear about the problem before your team does.

Who it's for

  • Offices with dead zones or WiFi that drops in meeting rooms.
  • Teams whose video calls cut out exactly when it matters.
  • Companies that grew and still run on the router the ISP left behind.
  • Plants, warehouses and large premises where the signal doesn’t reach everywhere.

How we work

  1. On-site survey: we measure coverage, channel saturation and real interference.
  2. Network design: how many access points, where, and how to segment traffic.
  3. Clean installation: business-grade gear, tidy cabling and documented configuration.
  4. Monitoring and support: we watch the WiFi and tune it to how the office actually uses it.

Why your office WiFi fails

The symptoms repeat: dead zones in rooms and corners, signal dropping when many connect at once, calls cutting out as you walk, and the classic "restart the router". The root causes are almost always the same: a home router that can’t handle a company’s load, badly placed or too few access points, channels saturated by neighboring networks, and a single flat network where a visitor’s phone competes with the billing system. None of it is fixed with one more repeater.

From WiFi to the rest of your IT

Fixing the WiFi is often the way in. When we measure the network to solve it, we see the rest: the state of the cabling, security, backups, devices. We don’t sell you what you don’t need — but if the diagnosis shows there’s more to sort out, we tell you with clear priorities. Many of our managed-support clients started exactly this way: with WiFi that didn’t work.

How we quote

We start with a site survey to know what you actually need — we don’t quote WiFi blind. With that measurement we give you a fixed proposal for gear and installation, plus the option to leave the network monitored. Since WiFi is usually the tip of the iceberg, the first step is a free Flash Diagnostic to understand the full context.

FAQ

Isn’t a repeater or a more powerful router enough?

Almost never. A repeater splits bandwidth and adds failure points; a "gaming" router doesn’t fix coverage in a large office. The real fix is measuring where the problem is and placing the right business access points, well located and well configured.

Why do my calls drop as I walk around the office?

Because your device roams badly between signal points, or there’s only one that doesn’t cover everything. With several access points set up for seamless roaming and traffic priority for video, you move around the office without the call dropping.

How many access points do I need?

It depends on the area, wall materials, how many people connect and what they do. That’s why we run a site survey instead of guessing: we measure and tell you the exact number and placement, with no overselling.
