Last updated: June 2026
UPGRADE-EC S.A.S. processes personal data under the principles of Ecuador's Organic Law on Personal Data Protection (LOPDP): lawfulness, fairness, transparency, purpose limitation, data minimization, accuracy, limited retention, security and proactive accountability.
Data-subject rights
As a data subject you have the right to:
- Access your data and information about its processing.
- Rectify and update inaccurate data.
- Erasure, when processing is no longer necessary or you withdraw consent.
- Object to or restrict processing.
- Portability of the data you provided.
- Not be subject to decisions based solely on automated processing.
How to exercise them
Write to [email protected] stating your name, the right you wish to exercise and a contact channel. We handle requests within the timeframes set by the LOPDP and its regulations.
Security
We apply technical and organizational measures proportional to risk: encryption in transit, role-based access control, multi-factor authentication on internal systems and incident logging.
LOPDP as a service
Beyond complying ourselves, we help other companies comply with the LOPDP: diagnostics, external DPO appointment and remediation. See the service.
